2009[]
Due to the fallout from the 2009 Players' Strike, Kathryn was selected by Mike Lubke to be the Queen for the Legion. She fared better than others in her position that year, winning 5 bouts during the regular season and losing only 1. While she did not fight in the semifinals match against the Culverins , she lost her only bout in the finals to Will Bradshaw of the Roses .
2010[]
Jacobs was one of the few players to stick with the team through its catastrophic 2010 season, playing the queen position throughout. She was underutilized in many games, due to Lubke's poor positional play, and as such she only managed to accrue a record of 6-2.
2011[]
Kathryn began the 2011 season with a move to the Rook position, a transition that took her some time to grow accustomed to. While she waivered somewhat in earlier games, she recovered well by then end of the season with a record of 7-5. She carried her momentum into the postseason, being capped with a victory over former teammate Rachel Bigelow in the championship match.
2012[]
Jacobs was offered a large sum to play for the Corsairs, an offer which she took after much consideration. Her initial offer of a Queen position fell through due to administrative negotiations, with the position eventually going to Meredith Larson. As such she was relegated to a pawn position where she was positionally disadvantaged on a number of occasions, finishing the season with a record of 3-3.
Fighting Style[]
Kathryn is an accomplished unarmed striker, with a strong focus on muay thai techniques. She has also demonstrated a growing knowledge base of double-fense situations, including rapier/dagger, rapier/buckler, and escrima dual batons.
