History[]
2007[]
Brian started the season with the Valkyries as a veteran of the Unified Combat Chess Conference, and thus was one of the highest performing players in the league that year. As a knight his record was 13-5
2008[]
Brian moved to the rook position in 2008, noting declining health and accruing injuries. While he did admirably and earned a record of 8-3, he decided at the end of the postseason to call it a career and retire instead of change teams or follow the Valkyries out of the league.
2013[]
At the beginning of the season, Hesser announced he was coming out of retirement to rejoin Max Savage, his former king on the Valkyries, on his new team, The Corsairs.
